How is it already Wednesday?

I can't believe it is already Wednesday. I was gonna write all weekend to keep everyone updated on our festivities, o well. We had a really great weekend. We went to Santa Fe on Saturday and got Harper a hello kitty battery operated 4 wheeler, that she loves! And on our way to Santa Fe we stopped at a fruit stand on the side of the road and I tried real cherries for the first time. I don't know why I have never had a real cherry before, but I hadn't till Saturday. I think I thought they tasted like those nasty ones in the jar that people put on ice cream sundaes, anyways....I love them! We had a really good day in Santa Fe on Saturday, well except for Rob hating the flea market and making us leave and our horrible lunch. We went to this Mexican restaurant that looks really cool on the outside, it was horrible. We both wanted a strawberry margarita, well 5 minutes after we ordered them she came back and said they were out of strawberry. So rob just got a beer and I got a raspberry margarita. Well when the raspberry one finally got there I couldn't even drink it, because there was so much vodka in it. Yea that's right vodka...eww. So then I just ordered a beer. They brought it to me in a glass that still had soap scum on it. It tasted and smelled like soap. So needless to say i just drank water lol. It was one of those really hot days when a beer or a margarita sounds super good, but o well. We ordered a chicken chimichanga to split and it was HORRIBLE. It had the worst re-fried beans ever in it. After lunch is when we decided to go get Harper her first big girl toy. It was so fun. Buying her that I felt like the best mom in the whole world. Just knowing that we had done that all on our own. Nobody had to help us buy it, nobody bought it for her because we couldn't afford it, we did it for her. Don't get me wrong I love that everyone helps us out so much. Harper would not have half of the cool stuff she has without yall, but this was the first time that rob and I had done something really awesome for Harper and it felt amazing. Sunday we went to the parade in Arroyo Seco. The streets were jam packed with people. It was cool to see that many people there, but way chaotic and not worth it. Harper was in the stroller with Kalistah and Joey was pushing them. Well we took too long leaving the house and Joey and the girls were off. Then when we got to the parade Rob took Rozi to go look for them. So within 5 minutes of being at the parade I lost my baby, my husband, and my dog lol. We finally found each other again and fed all the girls strawberries. They loved them! After the parade we all went home and took a family nap. It was nice to re charge before going to see fireworks that night. We drove to Eagles Nest with Amy, Eric, and Zayla. We got to go to Eric's family cookout to let the girls play. They had so much fun and Harper went on her first tire swing. Then it was off to the fireworks. We had a pretty good spot at the lake to watch them, but like dum dums we all forgot blankets to wrap up in. Well except the girls, they had their blankies to keep them warm. So we ended up leaving a little early, but as soon as we got back in Taos county we saw the finale there, so it was all good. All in all I would say it was one of the best 4th of July weekends that we have had.
